Wolf Park After Hours

Location: Entire Park

Time: 8:30, Specific dates throughout the year

Duration: 1.5 hours, starting after a Howl Night program

After selected Howl Night programs, visitors can hang around and see what goes on at Wolf Park after the sun comes down. Staff members and docents will guide late night walking tours of the Park, where the howls of wolves and coyotes might accompany your stroll in the dark. Frogs croak, insects sing — see what comes out at night when you escape the city. Bring a flashlight for the walk, to help you see the glow of canine eyes in the distance. Sit by a campfire and enjoy the night sky. Roast a marshmallow, and listen as staff members tell you stories about working with wolves.

Walking tours are approximately a half mile round trip over a gravel path at an easy pace. Or, just sit on our bleachers and watch the main pack welcome the night!

Wolf Park is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of wolves in captivity and in the wild through behavioral research and education.
