Wolf Behavior Presentations

Location: Bleachers, main pack enclosure

Time: Varied

Duration: Approx 30 minutes

Behavior Presentation

Staff members will provide an entertaining and lively talk on a broad spectrum of information about wolves. Questions are encouraged! Topics that are often presented include: how and why we socialize our captive wolves, social structure of wolf packs, wolf behavior both in the wild and in captivity, howling and communication, reproduction and the raising of pups, and the status of wolves in the wild.

Interaction and Handling

Our weekend behavior presentations involve a handling demonstration, where guests are able to observe firsthand Wolf Park's expert staff interacting with the hand-raised wolves of the main pack. The handlers will tailor each demonstration to the audience and the behavior of the wolves. This demonstration offers the chance to see how the socialized wolves interact with humans as well as how they interact with each other.

Wolf Park is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of wolves in captivity and in the wild through behavioral research and education.
