Wolf Park is located two miles north of Battle Ground, a tiny town located about 12 miles north of Lafayette, Indiana. If you are using a map program, the street address is Wolf Park, 4004 East 800 North, Battle Ground, Indiana, 47920. We are 72 miles northwest of Indianapolis, and 130 miles southeast of Chicago, Illinois. Driving Directions: To reach Wolf Park from Interstate 65, take the exit for Indiana State Road 43 North (Brookston/West Lafayette exit #178). Go north on 43 a mile to State Road 225. Turn right (east) and go about 2 miles directly into Battle Ground. Drive straight through town, cross the railroad tracks and stay to the left. Drive one long block to Jefferson St. and turn left. Follow Jefferson St. about 1 1/2 miles until you come to a large sign on your right for Wolf Park. We are just 1/4 mile up the gravel drive. If SR225 is closed, take 43 further north to 900 N, turn right, go one mile, and turn right again immediately after crossing the railroad tracks. Wolf Park will be on your left in approximately one mile. To reach Wolf Park from SR25, take SR225 across the one lane bridge to Battle Ground and follow directions above to Wolf Park. If SR 225 is closed, go south on 25 to I65 and follow the above directions from there. Printable Map of Wolf Park Area
There are a variety of places to stay available in Lafayette. Right off I-65 North and State Road 43 North, West Lafayette, 765-567-7100, is the Econolodge Hotel. Ask about a special room rate for Wolf Park visitors. Price limited to non-peak times. You must call ahead and tell them you are visiting Wolf Park to get the discount rate. Wolfe's Leisure Time Campground is within a ten-minute drive of Wolf Park. Their phone number is 765-589-8089, and they are open year round. For more info on campgrounds click here.
