Kids' Day Camps

Day camps are offered during the summer months for children 5 to 12. We offer several camps adapted to age ranges 5-7, 8-10, and 11-12. Activities in day camps vary due to age of group. Most of the activities are conducted outside. Day camps run two consecutive days from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. All food and drinks are provided. Cost is $50 per child, with payment due in full at time of registration. Children must be pre-registered for camps. No spots will be held without payment in full. 12 participants per session maximum.

Overnight camps include:
  • Craft projects
  • Team and individual games
  • Videos and movies
  • Campfire with snacks and stories
  • Lots of opportunities to take photographs
  • A chance to see the wolf/bison demo up close from inside the Wolf Park truck
  • All food and beverages are provided
  • A chance to help with some animal care (as available, through the fence)
  • A chance to meet our red foxes up close (dependent on availability)
What to bring:
  • Sleeping bag and pillow
  • Two changes of clothes
  • At least one pair of long pants
  • A pair of closed-toed shoes (sneakers, not sandals)
  • Rain gear
  • Bug spray
  • Sunscreen
  • A camera, if desired
  • A desire to have a great time!

Frequently Asked Questions

Animal interaction time is not guaranteed. We reserve the right to abort or suspend animal interactions at any time if we feel anyone's safety (your child's or our animals') is in jeopardy.
