Wolf Feeding Demonstrations

Location: Main pack enclosure

Time: 3:00 pm, Sundays only

Duration: Approximately 20 minutes

After the wolf/bison demonstration on Sunday, guests can sit and relax while we bring in dinner for the wolves, who have worked hard showing us how difficult it is to get dinner in the wild. In captivity, humans bring dinner to you! As the wolves eat — or don't eat — staff will give a quick presentation on the methods wolves use to obtain food in the wild, the manner in which wolves eat, the physical attributes that allow them to eat their prey and the social interactions we can observe between wolves as they eat.

Dinner is usually a road-killed deer. Photography is permitted and encouraged, although we understand if you'd rather not!
