Easter Egg Hunt

Location: Various around the Park

Date: In April

Time: 1:00 - 4:00 pm

We try to enrich the lives of our ambassador animals by offering them the opportunity to explore new and unusual objects, and also especially the opportunity to eat new and unusual objects! Every spring we have our annual Easter Egg Hunt for the wolves. They enjoy eggs — both raw and hard-boiled — as well as other (wolf-safe) Easter treats.

With the wolves temporarily locked out of the enclosure (so they can't peek), staff will enter the wolf enclosure and hide a variety of treats for the wolves, including marshmallow peeps, colored eggs, and of course the traditional Easter ham. The Easter Bunny is often in attendance to help! Once everything is hidden, staff release the wolves into the enclosure, and everyone can watch the wolves discover their treats.

On the same day, we also have egg-related events for children! We generally have a series of egg hunts for different ages, egg rolling contests, spoon races, and more.

Wolf Park is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of wolves in captivity and in the wild through behavioral research and education.
